Robert E. Bobby Huzzy, age 66 of Taneytown, MD died unexpectedly on Friday, June 21, 2024, at Carroll Hospital Center. Born December 29, 1957, he was the son of Robert A. Huzzy and Ruth Ann Pendleton of Largo, FL. He was the loving husband of Catherine Huzzy for 11 years.
Bobby was raised in New Jersey and had a wonderful childhood. He attended Valley Forge Military Academy during his high school years. Bobby considered himself a master jeweler. He loved his career in jewelry repair and making jewelry sparkle. He was also a motorcycle enthusiast faithful mascot, "Frankenstein" that rode on the seat behind him. He was well known for his Halloween décor. He would painstakingly set up haunted houses in his back yard for all to visit.
He is survived by brothers, Eric Huzzy and wife Wendy of Frederick, MD, Derek Huzzy and wife Susan of Fayetteville, PA, Paul McDaniel and wife Jennifer, Gambrills, PA; Children, Heather A. Huzzy of Smithfield, NC; stepchildren, Ben and Holly Cline of Glen Allen, VA, Alan and Bentley Kirkpatrick of Boiling Springs, PA and Karl and Frances Kirkpatrick, Centreville, VA.
The family will receive friends for a time of visitation on Saturday, June 29, 2024, from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. with the funeral service beginning at 12 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. 595 Johan Drive, Westminster, MD 21158
