I met Bob, and his future wife Carol, in 1979 in Springfield MA at American College. My brother Peter, DHS Class of 1974, had met Bob through their mutual friend Ben Waldron, whom also attended American. They had an extra ticket to a Greatful Dead show and graciously invited me to attend. It was an epic show and I’ve enjoyed seeing Bob and Carol again since moving to the South Shore in 1993. Whenever Peter and his wife Lynda came to visit from CT and later ME we would enjoy spending time with Bob and Carol. I’ve missed Carol since her departure and was sadden to hear that Bob had succumbed. I have endearing memories of both Bob and Carol and will miss the easy comradely I enjoyed whenever I spent time with them. Best wishes to their daughter, sons and grandchild.
