Published by Legacy Remembers on Apr. 16, 2024.
Ingalls, Jr., Robert E. Robert E. Ingalls, Jr. age 80, of Kennesaw, GA, passed away on April 14, 2024. Beloved husband of Maureen Ingalls, loving father of Michelle, Amy, Robert, Melissa, Jonathan, and Kaitlyn. Cherished by his 15 grandchildren. Survived by his sister Judy Holder, brothers Tom and Donald Ingalls. Robert, known as Bob, was a dedicated entrepreneur who founded Kennesaw Enterprises, providing industrial design and sewing services. He served in the US Air Force Reserve.

Bob was deeply involved in his family's lives and was a source of wisdom and support for all. He was a generous, kind-hearted and gentle man, always ready to lend a hand to those in need. To know him was to love him. His gifted creativity and joy in his work inspired many. Bob lived his faith daily, emulating the characteristics of St. Joseph. He was a dedicated member of St. Catherine of Siena, Our Lady of Lourdes, and finally Transfiguration.

A Family Receiving will be held on Friday, April 19, 2024, at 10:00 a.m., followed by a Service at 11:00 a.m. (will be live-streamed at the Transfiguration.com website), and a Reception at Transfiguration Catholic Church in Marietta. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Faith & Light at https://secure.myvanco.com/L-YZ7B/campaign/C-14GDM?access=tile_direct.

May God's Glory shine on you forever, Bob. You were an original and you will be greatly missed by those who had the honor to know and love you.

My favorite memory of Bob was when Michelle and I were little and he drove us around in his MG car. It had no seats in the back but somehow Michelle and I fit back there and we were laughing so hard. I will always have that fond memory of Bob!

My first memory of Bob was in Bayport outside my Nana´s house. Michelle and I were sitting outside on the stoop and I was scared to take my band aid off. Bob had arrived since he was courting my cousin Maureen at the time and he walked up to us. He asked what was wrong so I told him and he said he could help with that well he sure did. He ripped that band aid off so fast and I didn´t even realize what happened. I was kind of confused with his dry sense of humor since I was little but he was right he helped me out!

Seeing Bob was the highlight of my day! Working in Public Safety, we would need certain items custom made and we use Kennesaw Enterprises for ability to make those items. The conversations between Bob and I ranged from US Air Force stories to present time and I will cherish the times I had the opportunity to joke with him. You will be missed greatly my friend. God Bless brother!!!

Our deepest condolences to Bob´s family and friends from our family here in Canada. It´s very hard to believe that you are no longer here with us Bob. The last time we saw you was in January at Nalo and Little Boy´s house, reminiscing about Arjuna and enjoying a nice meal. During our almost yearly trips to Georgia, we would come visit Nalo and family, and we would have to go over to see Bob, or you would come over to Nalo and Little Boy´s shop to give us a hugs, say hi and have a little conversation, then the kids would go over to your shop to see everyone there !! It was like a tradition you know...Nalo would say, "come kids let´s go see Bob and Sharlie ". Bob, we thank you for always being there for my sister Nalo and her family. You´ve been everything to them, I know they are going to miss you dearly and we will all miss you too... and will always remember your kindness and caring you´ve shown our family including my mom and dad .. May all your goodness carry you to the gates of the highest heaven, and say hi to Arjuna for us !! Gone but will never be forgotten..rest in eternal paradise Bob

To Robert Ingalls Jr, Boss, Bobby, and Bob. Not only are you our boss, you are our family, our father figure, and our guide through this life that we didn´t know where to start. 31 years ago, as a young 22 year old looking for a purpose, looking for work, looking for any sense of guidance, we found you. Just a bike ride away.. you were there next door to Ingalls clock shop. Although we didn´t know it at the time, we had met our saving grace. We met the person who would single handedly give us enough motivation, inspiration, and courage to become something in this scary new world. It took one word from our dearest sharlie to give us a chance and to show you our dedication to make a better life for ourselves. You blessed Indy with a job that we will forever be grateful for. Bob was not only a boss or a friend, he cultivated us into who we are today. The amount Bob has taught us is unmeasurable. When Little boy and I came to Georgia, we didn´t have parents around but Bob´s loving, caring, and empathetic heart was quick to take us under his wing in a sense because that´s the type of man he was. One of my favorite memories of Bob was the day my oldest son was born. We didn´t have a car so he was the one to bring us home from the hospital. I remember him saying "Hi there you precious boy, you sure are a blessing to your parents. Look at that! No mortgage payments yet on your shoulders so you be a good boy for your mommy and daddy LB." Bob is a great gentle soul and we will miss him so dearly. One thing that gives me comfort is that Arjuna will be at heavens gates to receive you as you were there when he was born. We love you soo much! Until we meet again, Rest in paradise.

I want to share that I met Bob since 1993. Just looking for a job. I was clueless what
this would mean. I came from Guyana two years earlier, lost my father at age 11 and my Mom at 23. I started working with Bob at age 28. I am now 57. He was my God given father and will remain in my heart forever. I want to say I am grateful beyond words can express to Bob and his entire family for making me and my family their own and for all their love and affection. We
Pray for god´s healing and comfort at this time of grief for his family . I sincerely pray that my Boss, my friend and my father is with the Almighty god. Please bless him, grant him peace and all that is heavenly. We will miss you so much. Your most recent statement to me, "if we don´t exist in the here after, then we will all be in big trouble". May God bless your soul dear Bob.
Lilboy.
