Robert A. "Bob" Isgro

Hudson, Florida- Robert "Bob" Isgro born February 22, 1945, passed away peacefully on August 15, 2025 in the care of Suncoast Hospice with his family by his side.

Robert, affectionately known as Bob or Uncle Bob, is survived by his wife of 40 yrs, Carole A. (Bonifacio) Isgro; sister in law, Debbie Balot(Keith); niece, Michele Martinelli (David), niece and goddaughter, Lisa Foland (Marc), Jessica Balot and nephew, Jacob Balot. His great nephews and nieces, Dominic Martinelli, Nicholas Foland,; great nephew and godson, Angelo Martinelli, Gino Martinelli, Julie Martinelli and Michele Foland. Also survived by his dear friend, Martin Sabatino and several Isgro and Puliafico cousins.

Robert is predeceased by his daughter, Kristen Anne; his parents, Rosalin (Puliafico), Joseph A. Isgro; sister and brother in law, Carmela (Carol Isgro) and Michael P. DiCerbo.

Robert was born in California but spent most of his life in Schenectady.

He was a graduate of Linton High school, Hudson Valley and Russell Sage College.

He served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Upon his return he worked at the Watervliet Arsenal, Norton Company, AT&T and the Town of Niskayuna.

Bob and Carole made their move to Florida and enjoyed many friendships within the Heritage Pines community.

Bob enjoyed music all his life whether jamming in families' living rooms or singing in the Barbershop Harmony Society.

Throughout his life he enjoyed skiing, bowling, shooting pool, golf, playing cards and socializing with his friends at Heritage Pines and always looked forward to is Linton High School Reunions.

He was a car enthusiast and loved his latest sports car the Audi TT!

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Theresa's in Spring Hill, Florida on September 27at 10am, 1107 Commercial Way, Springs Hill, Florida The service will be live streamed, please visit Saint-Theresa.org to virtually attend.

Robert will be laid to rest with military honors at Gerald H. B. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery in Schuylerville, NY, Friday November 28 at 1:30pm.
