Robert "Pete" Jackson, 71, of Blanford passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2024, at Union Hospital in Terre Haute.
He was born in Vermillion County, Indiana on January 26, 1953, to Mary Alice Jackson, she precedes Robert in death. Also preceded are his father-in-law and mother-in-law Pete and Rita Priest, brother-in-law George Sanders and sister-in-law Patty Jackson.
Pete married the love of his life Jackie Priest Jackson on October 17, 1975. He worked for the Clinton Police Depart for 27 years and the Vermillion County Sheriffs Department for 31 years.
Surviving is his wife Jackie, sons: Robert Jackson and Dustin Jackson; brother Don Jackson; brother-in-law George Priest (Dianna); sisters-in-law Mary Robertson (Tom) and Maragaret Sanders; grandchildren: Kolton, Linkoln, Braiden and Wyatt; nieces: Amie, Jennifer, Messile, Samantha and Terri; nephews: David, Jason and Kenny and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be at Frist Funeral Home on Monday December 23, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Spangler Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family or Frist Funeral Home to go toward Pete's funeral expenses.
