Robert David James, 70, of Lake Winola passed away Thursday, December 25, 2025, at home.
Born on May 28, 1955, in Scranton, he is the son of the late William and Margaret (Davis) James.
Bob was a 1973 graduate of Tunkhannock High School. He honorably served his country in the United States Army. For 30 years, Robert devoted himself to the Clarks Summit State Hospital, where he served as a team lead.
Bob had a love for walking and enjoyed dining out, often cherishing moments spent with family and friends. His happiest moments were centered around his family; he was a great brother who adored his niece and great nephews.
He is survived by sister, Nancy Farinella and husband Sam; brother, William James; nephew, Chris Bogdon; great nephews, Michael and Brayden Bogdon.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by sister, Doris Livsey; niece, Tracy Bogdon.
Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
