Robert F. Keegan

Paulsboro, N.J. Robert F. Keegan age 93 years of Paulsboro died Thursday September 9, 2021 in Samaritan Hospice, Voorhees. Mr. Keegan was born and raised in Paulsboro and was a 1948 graduate of Paulsboro High School. He was a veteran serving in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Keegan retired as a first operator after 39 years of service with Mobil Oil Co., Paulsboro. He was a past member of St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, Paulsboro; the Knights of Columbus, the Pegasus Club and coached little league when his children where growing up. He was an avid Paulsboro Football and Wrestling fan as well as all of the Philly sports. He is survived by his children, Robert J. Keegan of West Deptford, Diane Keegan Wells of Columbia, MD, Daniel and Angela Keegan of West Deptford, Edward Keegan and Susan Kluska of Paulsboro, Suzanne and Cyndi Keegan of Columbia, MD and his grandchildren, Sean, Timothy, Haley, Eric, Jacob, Julia and Andrew. Mr. Keegan was predeceased by his wife, Lois Ann Keegan; his parents, William and Viola Keegan; his brothers, John, James, Albert, William and Thomas Keegan and his sisters, Elizabeth Grogan and Dorothy Jones. The Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM Tuesday September 14, 2021 in the McBride – Foley Funeral Home, 228 W. Broad St., Paulsboro. Relatives and friends may visit with the family Tuesday morning after 9 AM until service time. Interment Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro.
