Robert W. Keller, 62, of Maysville passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, February 15, 2025. Born in Maysville, Kentucky on September 28, 1962, he was the son of the late Marion and Betty Jo (Brown) Keller.
Robert graduated in 1980 from Maysville High School. He proudly served a four-year term in the United States Army as an X-ray technician in Baumholder, Germany and Dugway, Utah. He worked in the car industry for over 35 years, creating a remarkable career which he genuinely enjoyed and was currently employed at Mann Chevrolet in Campton, KY. Robert's expertise, guidance, and vast knowledge of cars quickly earned him the trust and respect of so many customers.
He was a devoted fan of the Kentucky Wildcats, Cincinnati Bengals, and the Cincinnati Reds. Robert had a passion for sports and was very competitive. He especially looked forward to Thursday afternoons at Laurel Oaks golf course with his friends, where they shared the love for the great game of golf. Robert was a down-to-earth, humble, loyal, and a genuine kind of guy. He was always "cutting up" with someone, making people laugh with his quick wit and profound sense of humor. He was an incredible friend to many and will leave an indelible mark on his community. Above all, Robert was a wonderful husband and adored dad who worked hard for his family and loved them more than words could ever express.
His loving legacy will be carried on by his best friend and wife of 43 years, Vicki (High) Keller; two wonderful sons, Chase and Ryan (Hilda) Keller; two sisters, Sally (Sidney) Baxter, Kelly (Mark) Gilkerson; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of close friends who cherished him so much. Robert also leaves behind an incredible dog, Luca.
Robert was welcomed into heaven by his parents, Marion and Betty Jo and his sister, Bonita Andrus. Robert was a member of the Germantown Christian Church.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, February 20, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Laurel Oaks golf course in Maysville, KY. Friends and family will gather to share memories and find solace in each-others' company and honor the legacy he leaves behind. At the request of the family, please wear your favorite UK, Bengals, or Reds gear in honor of Robert and his favorite teams. He will be remembered as the funny, kindhearted, and genuine good guy that he was.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Robert's name to the Mason County Animal Shelter, 301 River Dr, Maysville, KY 41056.

I was stationed in Germany with Robert (I called him Bob). We became very close friends, when Vicki came to Germany, Bob was the happiest. My wife, at the time. and I woud spend a lot of time with them. playing spades, going out to eat, and hanging out. I remember one time at Bob's house we all were playing Spades and myself, Vicki and Kathy smoked back then. Bob would put a finger in his mouth with his lips sealed tight and blow, bob would have a bunch of second hand smoke coming out of his mouth lol. He was a great friend and even though i haven't seen or talk to him in years I'm still heart broken. I'm so sorry for your loss Vicki
