"Tiny", as he was affectionately known, was a lifelong resident of Philadelphia. He had a gift for making friends with anyone he met and making others laugh...he was truly the definition of a jokester! Tiny spent over 25 years working as a bus driver with Academy Tours, where he enjoyed meeting new people. In his free time, he loved watching movies from his own personal library and cheering on the Eagles and Phillies.
Tiny was a beloved husband to his wife, Karen (nee Izzi), for decades; loving father of Deanna (Mark) Deichman and Jeffrey Knorr; cherished Pop Pop of Alec, Ava and Anthony Deichman and Zackery and Sophia Knorr. He will also be deeply missed by his brother, Jack Knorr (late Mary); his sister-in-law, Denise Izzi; brother-in-law Mark Izzi (Jeananne); nephew Justin Bruno (Kelly); niece Alexis Bruno (Kevin); great niece Carter Bruno and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Tiny was predeceased by his parents, Ellen (nee Caubre) and John "Jack" Knorr, Sr. and his brother, Bill Knorr.
Relatives and friends are invited to greet his family on Monday, February 24, 2025, from 2:00 PM until 3:30 PM from the T.J. Fluehr Funeral Home, 1010 Knights Road, Philadelphia, PA 19154. Tiny's Memorial Service will be held at 3:30 PM. Interment private.
