Robert R. Kuzma

Robert R. Kuzma, age 84, of Kennedy Township, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 11, 2023 after a long and courageous battle with Leukemia. Beloved husband of Gloria for 57 years. Loving father of Douglas (Leslie) of Robinson Township and Christine Tunder of Gibsonia. Proud grandfather (Pap) of Michael and Danica Tunder and Alina Kuzma; brother of William Kuzma of O'Fallon, IL; son of the late William and Bertha (Papeaka) Kuzma of Greenfield. In his younger years, Bob enjoyed scuba diving, water & snow skiing and skydiving. He and Gloria vacationed for many years, visiting Europe, Alaska, and most of the Caribbean. Before retirement Bob was a tavern & beer distributor owner, supervisor at Consol Energy Company and Buyer for the Diocese of Pittsburgh. He was a disabled US Army Veteran who proudly volunteered to serve in Laos in the South Pacific during the Vietnam Conflict. He was a member of DAV, VFW, and American Legion. Relatives and friends received Friday, December 15, 2023, from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at McDERMOTT FUNERAL HOME, 334 Forest Grove Road, Coraopolis (Kennedy Township), PA 15108. Funeral prayer Saturday 9:30 AM at the funeral home followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in Archangel Gabriel Parish, St. Malachy Church, 343 Forest Grove Road, Kennedy Township. Interment will be in The National Cemetery of the Alleghenies on Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at 1:30 PM with military honors.
