Robert P. Lamoureux, 69, of Chicopee, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully, on July 11, 2025, at Baystate Medical Center. Born in Springfield, he was the son of the late Lucien and Jeanne (Talbot) Lamoureux. A lifelong resident of Springfield, Robert worked for many years in a carton folding company in Chicopee, where he was known for his strong work ethic and quiet dedication. He also worked at Hamilton Standard CO in Connecticut. A simple man at heart, Robert found joy in the everyday things-his family, a good conversation, and the occasional lottery ticket, which he played with unwavering hope. Robert also enjoyed cross word puzzles and trivia games, music and movies. Robert is survived by his loving sister, Therese Nooney of West Springfield, and two devoted brothers: Raymond Lamoureux of Ludlow and Richard Lamoureux of Chicopee, with whom he lived with. He also leaves behind cherished family members Tiffany Lamoureux, Melissa Nooney, and Cavin Fowler, along with many other extended relatives and friends who will remember him fondly. Robert will be remembered for his gentle spirit, unassuming nature, and the quiet but deep love he held for those closest to him. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness, simplicity, and loyalty. Family and friends will gather and remember Robert on Thursday, July 24, 2025, from 4-5pm, Followed by a funeral home service at 5pm, at the Byron Keenan Funeral Home and Cremation Tribute Center, 1858 Allen Street, Springfield, MA. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor Robert's memory by enjoying a small moment of simple pleasure-just as he would have liked.
