Robert William Langridge

Robert William Langridge, 82, of Battle Creek, Michigan, passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2023 at Bronson Battle Creek Hospital. He was born on July 25, 1940, the son of Clarence Glenn Langridge and Lois Luella (Sweet) Langridge.
Bob graduated from Marshall High School with the Class of 1958. He decided to join the United States Army, making it through boot camp and being active in the Army National Guard Reserves. He married the love of his life, Martha Pitkin in February of 1964. He began working at Union Steel in Albion, MI and later retired from Post as a Millwright in Battle Creek. Bob and Martha were members of the Boilin' T's Model T Car Club, they went on many road trips and participated in car shows all over the US. He loved going to the casino, fishing, hunting and spending time with his family. Bob could always be found in his garage tinkering with anything and everything!
Bob is survived by his wife, Martha J. (Pitkin) Langridge; daughters, Christine L. Bilodeau and Marilyn A. Stewart; grandchildren, Jenna L. Stewart and Jared R. (Ciara) Henke; great granddaughter, Mackenzie G. Henke; sister, Joanne K. (Samuel) McKeever, faithful dog companion, Charlie Brown and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Lois Langridge; and grandson, Jacob W. Stiemsma.
Visitation will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service, 375 West Dickman Road, on Sunday, January 15, 2023 from 2:00 - 5:00 pm and on Monday, January 16, 2023 from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm.
A memorial service will be held at the Baxter Funeral and Cremation Service on Monday, January 16, 2023, starting at 2:00 pm.
