We offer our prayers and condolences to the Clarke, Lawson and extended family. My first memory of Pop Lawson was of a caring man of God who loved others. He was giving of his time and talent for God, making a positive example of a Servant
Leader. He was Simply Marvelous, a man full of wisdom and an Encourager. I loved him dearly. We will see him again at that great reunion and what a time that will be. Blessings, Peace and Love, Karen D. Peaks

I love me some Pop! My first volunteer opportunity at First Church was with Pop serving lunch to the seniors. We had a good time in the kitchen. Pop was always a lot of fun, and encouraging. Years after my daughter left for college, he would always ask about her. I will miss him and looking forward to seeing him on the other side. First Lady and First Family hold close the memories of Pop, they will always be priceless.

Praise the Lord! I never met the man, but the Word of God tells me that you will KNOW a tree by the fruit it bears. I know this man carried, cultivated, and contributed to good fruit! I missed the moment to have met the good man that I am convinced that he was, but I am grateful for the good fruit I know he left behind. Pastor Terri L. Bea
