Robert Darryl "Bobby" Laywell, 32, of Bidwell, Ohio passed away Monday, August 19, 2024, in Holzer Medical Center Emergency Room, Gallipolis, Ohio. Bobby was born May 16, 1992, in Columbus, Ohio, son of Robert D. Laywell, Jr., of Bidwell and Madge "Missy" (Shamblin) Montell, of Pataskala, Ohio. A former member of the Carpenters Local #200, Columbus, Ohio, Bobby enjoyed riding his Harley motorcycle.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his son, Braven Jay Laywell, Mansfield, Ohio; brother, Blaise (Mykie) Laywell, Thornville, Ohio; sisters: Ashley Marie of Columbus and Kali Montell, of Pataskala as well as three nephews and four nieces. Also missing Bobby are his paternal grandmother, Anita Laywell, maternal grandfather, Pete Shamblin and girlfriend, Paige Porter.
He was preceded in death by paternal grandfather, Robert D. Laywell, Sr., maternal grandmother, Micki Shamblin and close cousins, Robbie Decara and Gerald Lyman.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, August 23, 2024, in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, Gallipolis, Ohio with Lisa Kellett officiating. Family and friends may call at the funeral home Friday 12:00-2:00 PM.
