Barbara Buck

Vinton -Barbara Kay Fuller Buck, 76, of Vinton, Ohio, passed away Thursday, March 5, 2026 at Holzer ER in Pomeroy, Ohio.

Born October 12, 1949, in Kermit, WV, she was the daughter of the late Johnny and Mary (Messer) Cole. She was a loving mother and grandmother to her children and grandchildren. She loved her siblings with her whole heart. She always looked forward to family reunions of family gatherings. Her favorite holiday was Christmas, she enjoyed being able to give a little something to everyone. She loved to play poker, slot machines and bingo with pull tabs with her partner in crime, her son-in-law Larry Hunt, to when she was no longer able to go to and gave her life to the Lord. She never met a stranger and she could talk to anyone for hours. Her home was always open to family or someone in need.

Barbara is survived by seven children, Jessie Spencer, Dessie Nottingham, Andy (Amber) Risch, Rebecca (Brady) Ashburn, Barbara Davis, Terry (Larry) Hunt and Arlie Malone Jr; twenty grandchildren, Mel Spencer, Jessica Spencer, Nathan Nottingham, Kayla (AJ) Nottingham, Kendall Sigler, Bobbi Smith, Mandy (Brandon) Gable, Jesse (Jessica) Smith, Desiray Christian, Levi (Kayla, her Katie) Ashburn, Dale (Cheyenne) Ashburn, Elye Hunt, Jace Hunt, Owen Hunt, Gage Malone, Gavin Malone, Peyton Malone, Chase Malone, Josh (Rayleigh) Smith and Jacob (Kate) Smith; twenty-eight great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; two sisters, Sharon Muncy and Sue (Jerry) Worrell; and her mother and father-in-law Richard and Donna Sue Neese.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Darrin Buck; one brother, Kelly Spalding; grandson, Charlie Spencer, Jr; granddaughter, Ryan Bailey Risch, her grandparents and other loved ones.

Funeral services will be held at noon on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at the Ewing Funeral Home in Pomeroy. Burial will be in the Brush Ridge Cemetery in Vinton, Ohio. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM till the time of the service. Freinds are invited to sign the online guestbook at ehwfh.com
