Robert "Bobby" Lee Amos Tackett

Robert Lee Amos Tackett 1978 – 2025 A.K.A. Bobby, was known for many of his attributes. What stood out the most was his laughter, at himself and his comical gestures towards others. Bobby was born in Lexington Ky, August 7th, 1978, to Larry Wayne Tackett and Ethel Lynn Vannarsdall Tackett. He did not stay little very long as he turned into his witty self, possessing the finest traits of his father and mother. The NUT did not roll far from the tree!
Bobby attended a mix of Scott & Franklin County Schools, graduating from Franklin Co. Class of 1996. His foundation of friends through these years have seeded long lasting friendships resulting in a true brotherhood amongst his cohort. Bobby will be remembered by not only his big smile, but his love to make others shine through their laughter. Stamping Ground KY will mourn for decades to come from the loss of Bobby Tackett.
Bobby was preceded in death by his father, Larry Wayne Tackett in 1992, and his brother Staff Sgt. Richard Gayle Tackett Jr. in 2008. He will forever be remembered and loved by the apple of his eye, daughter Addisyn Nicole Lee Tackett and her mother, Bridget Nicole Tackett. His memory will be cherished by Mother Ethel Lynn Vannarsdall Frederick and Stepfather John David Frederick of Georgetown, KY. He is survived by sisters, Free Dawn Tackett Stimely and brother-in-law Michael Stimely of Florida and Michelle Couch Perkins and brother-in-law Anthony Perkins, Nieces, Geni-Lynn Willoughby, Isabella Rivera, and Kayla Perkins are left with treasured memories of their uncle Bobby. Surviving Tackett nephews include Aaron Joel Lee, Brandon Tyler, William Alexander Grant, and Cameran James Tackett of whom he loved dearly. His furry friends Peyton and Yeller will miss their big red ball and "ruff" rubs.
At the young age of 18 years old, Bobby began working at Adient US of Georgetown Ky. Over those 30 years of dedicated service, Bobby developed not only lifetime friendships with his co-workers, but also a work family he adored. He leaves behind a special spark that will radiate lumens for years to come throughout Adient.

Visitation will be held on Monday, November 24th from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm with the funeral service beginning at 1:00 pm at Tucker Yocum Wilson Funeral Home. The funeral procession will then proceed to Georgetown Cemetery to be concluded at 2:00 pm. Services will be officiated by Pastor Andrew Glenn & Big Sister Free Stimely. Snacks will be provided by Central Church onsite during funeral services.
