Robert Lee Wise, Jr. (Bob) 71, of Salem, AL died at Columbus Piedmont, Midtown, Columbus, GA on Tuesday, August 12, 2025.

A private Service of Remembrance with U. S. Navy honors will be held at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery according to Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL.

Bob was born October 27, 1953, in Williamsport, PA son of the late Robert Lee Wise, Sr. and Sara Elizabeth “Liz” Wise. He had retired from Welch Welding and Ornamental Iron as a fabricator. Bob enjoyed fly fishing and was an animal lover; his animals were his companions and were his family. He also enjoyed gardening.

His departure has left a void in our family, but he is now with our parents and his wife. We miss them and him, but they will never be forgotten. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Bob Sr and Liz Wise and his wife, Debra “Deb” Joyce Cline Wise.

Survivors include his three siblings, William E. Wise of Columbus, GA, Lisa Wise Livingston (Eddie) of Smiths Station, AL, and Poo Carrero (Jeff) of Smiths Station, AL; four nieces and nephews, Robert Edward Livingston (Tiffany), Jeffrey Carrero, Jr. (Camden), Hannah Wise, and Nolan Carrero (Savannah), and three great- nieces and nephews, Jaxon Livingston, Carter Carrero, and Bexley Carrero; numerous cousins other loving family members and many caring friends.
