Robert Lephart Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Westgor Funeral Home - Neenah on Jan. 5, 2026.
Robert Reed Lephart, age 77 of Neenah, WI, was called home by his savior on January 2nd with his family surrounding him after bravely and courageously fighting cancer. He was born October 31st, 1948 in Greenville, OH to Edna M. and John E. Lephart. At Arcanum High School, he achieved many awards and was valedictorian of his class in 67'. He graduated at Miami University of Ohio with his Bachelor's and Master's in Paper Technology. After school, he served in the Air Force as a First Lieutenant at K.I. Sawyer A.F.B.. To further his education, he went to Fox Valley Technical College and received his Associates Degree in Applied Science in Robotics Technician. For many years, he worked at Appleton Papers and later on retired from P.J. Kortens.

Bob met the love of his life Nancy Dull in first grade, this friendship led to them dating in high school. They got married in 1971 on August 28th in Ohio. Their first child, Paul, was born at K.I.. Three and a half years later their second child, Diane, was born.

They raised their family with a strong, enduring faith in God in the same house for 50+ years. He enjoyed many years with family and friends. This included playing board and card games, watching the Marx Brothers movies, singing in the church choir, bible study with friends, being a cub scout leader, and going to his grandchildren's sporting events and musical events. He loved his Milwaukee Brewers and Green Bay Packers tremendously and had the opportunity to go to a Brewers game at the end of July this past summer with his family. Through his tough battle with cancer, he was able to witness all but one of his grandchildren graduate and see the eldest get married. He celebrated 54 years of marriage this past August but went on a trip to Florida to celebrate their 50th Anniversary with his family in 2021.

Bob is survived by his wife, Nancy Lephart; his son, Paul (Sarah) Lephart and his daughter, Diane (Troy) Tyynismaa; his seven grandchildren, Kaitlyn (Brandon) Wagner, Ella Lephart, Darius Jones Jr., Amaya Jones, Brayden Tyynismaa, Micah Lephart, and Nora Lephart. Bob is further survived by his brother, Dick (Ginny Lee) Lephart; his sister, Virginia Peters; and many other cousins, nieces, and nephews that he was blessed with.

Bob was preceded in death by his father, John E. Lephart and his mother, Edna M. Lephart; and his brother-in-law; William Dull.

Bob's memorial service will be held at 11am on Saturday, January 10th, 2026 at Our Saviors Lutheran Church, 809 S. Commercial St. Neenah. A visitation will be held at church from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of service.

A huge and heartfelt thank you to Froedtert Hospital (Milwaukee), ThedaCare Medical Center (Neenah and Appleton), especially Dr. Sibla, ThedaCare Oncology Department, his long-term primary care provider Dr. Kurt Bloomhuff, Pastor Jon from Our Saviors in Neenah, and the many caring and loving staff members (including nurses, PCTs, custodians, etc).
