Robert L. Levesque, age 91, passed away peacefully on February 10, 2023. Bob was raised and educated in Randolph where he graduated from Stetson High School - Class of 1950. He joined the United States Air Force where he proudly served his country during the Korean War. After he returned from active duty, he worked for many years as a freight handler for the Railroad alongside his father and brother.
Bob married his beloved wife, Pat, in 1979 and their daughter was born a year later. They settled in Weymouth where Bob worked at Brady Enterprises for over 40 years. In his free time Bob enjoyed golfing, dancing and music. He loved socializing with friends at the local Chinese food restaurant and he would never turn down a cup of coffee. He loved all types of animals and had a very special place in his heart for his long-time dog "Tzu Tzu". In his retirement years, he enjoyed going to the Nantasket Beach Pavilion to listen to live music and dance with his wife. He also had fun playing Wii bowling, Bingo and cards at the Senior Center, walking the dogs with his family at Bare Cove Park and playing board games with his good friend Daisy. He got a kick out of beating everyone at miniature golf well into his 80's.
Through out his illness, Bob never lost his smile and his happy carefree attitude. Even in his hard moments, his focus was on everyone else's happiness.
Robert was predeceased by his parents George Sr. and Ruth (Rodd) Levesque, and his brothers George Jr. and David. He is survived by his beloved wife Patricia Levesque (Grund) of Weymouth, his loving daughter Nichole Levesque and her partner Anthony "Nick" Meola, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to the visiting hours for Bob on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 from 4-7pm in the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home located at 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) Weymouth, MA. A funeral service will take place in the funeral home Thursday Morning at 10am followed by burial at Blue Hill Cemetery in Braintree.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff at Active Day, Care One and NVNA and Hospice for their support and care over the years.
