Robert "Bobby" Lightfoot, age 69 passed away on October 18. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Jackie Lightfoot, and their two daughters, Lindsey Peden (Dustin), and Sarah Johnson (Caleb)He also leaves behind his sister Sandy Lightfoot, and his brother, Joe Lightfoot.
Bobby's legacy lives on through his cherished grandchildren: Harvey, Hattie, and Archie Johnson, and Lucy and Teddy Peden, who brought him immense joy and pride.
He is also lovingly remembered by his in-laws: John and Jill Bryce, Debbie and Kevin Jackson, and Chris and Christy Bryce, as well as a host of nieces and nephews whom he held close to his heart.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Ida Lightfoot; his father- and mother-in-law, Eugene and Annemarie Bryce; and his brother-in-law, Joey Bryce.
A lifelong resident of Warren County, Bobby was a former owner of the Bryce Inn and Bob's Car Wash, and served as the Material Manager at ASC. He was a member of Living Hope Baptist Church.
The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to the many friends, neighbors, and loved ones who offered support and kindness throughout Bobby's journey, particularly over the past few years. A special thank you to Sandy, and to the compassionate caregivers at Hospice of Southern Kentucky. Bobby was always deeply grateful for the love shown to him.
Please join us in celebrating and honoring the life of a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend-Bobby Lightfoot.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday October 25, 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Living Hope Baptist Church Sanctuary 1805 Westen Street Bowling Green.
Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to Living Hope Baptist Church and PSP.org.
