Robert Lynch Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Watkins Brothers Funeral Homes - Laingsburg Chapel on Dec. 15, 2022.
Robert I. Lynch, age 83, of Lansing, passed away in the early morning hours at his home, Wednesday, December 14, 2022, just shy of his 84th birthday. In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place and no formal services will be held.
Robert was born December 21, 1938, in Indianapolis, Indiana to Ivan and Irma (Bundchu) Lynch. He received his Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree from Purdue University. He married the love of his life Patricia Carol Bush on June 2, 1960, in Indianapolis, Indiana. Together they moved to Michigan to raise their children. Robert found employment working in the sales division for Baker Perkins and Krauss Maffei who specialized in the manufacturing of machinery for injection molding and
plastics extrusion technology. He loved spending time with his family and friends and made many memories thru the years; the fondest of those spent at Land O' Lakes, Wisconsin where he spent much time as a child then with his own family. He had a passion for fishing, camping, boating, and traveling with Patricia.
Surviving to cherish his memory are his sister, Geraldine Lynch; his children, Scott (MaryPat) Lynch, Michele (Kelly) Canfield and Tara (Dan) Durci; grandchildren, Marcus and KiAnna Spivey, Jessica Lynch, Troy and Kayla VanValkenburgh, and Vikram Durci.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ivan and Irma Lynch; his wife, Patricia Lynch; his granddaughter, Sujata Durci and his most recent dogs, Susie, Sammy and Sophie.
Robert recognized the care that is necessary for children with high need disabilities; having his family touched by such an angel in a granddaughter and he had expressed the desire for memorials to go to the family for future designation of her long-term care. Those may be made through Venmo at Tara Durci @ Tara-Durci.
