Robert W. "Bob" Mahone

Obituary
Robert W. 'Bob' Mahone, a longtime Fishkill resident, passed away on July 29, 2023 at the Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie; at the age of 58 year old. He was born in Cold Spring, NY on February 23, 1965, son of the late Robert M. & Ruth (Babcock) Mahone.
Bob worked as a plumber for several years with MTA Metro-North Railroad at the Croton-Harmon Station, Croton, NY; until he retired. He owned and operated his father's automotive shop, Bob's Auto Body in Fishkill, until he closed it. He later ran his own landscaping business for many years and current, B & L Landscaping Contractor in Fishkill, NY. He thoroughly enjoyed working, a hard-working man. His passion was the automotives, and his Family.
Bob was a life-member of the Protective Engine Co #1 of the Fishkill Fire Department. He was also an associate member of the Dutchess Junction Fire Company.
Bob is survived by his loving daughters: Anna Mahone, Michelle (Jorge) Palma, and Jenifer Mahone; his four grandchildren, Essance Sands, Rickey Sands, George Palma and Ulises Olmedo. He is also survived by his longtime friend Catherine Mahone, and several aunts, uncles & cousins.
His Family will gather with Friends on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 from 3-7PM at the LIBBY FUNERAL HOME, 55 Teller Avenue, Beacon, NY. A Firematic Vigil Service will be offered during the calling hours. Interment will be private at the discretion of His Family.
