Bobby and his brothers were a big part of my life all the way back to when he was a Custodian at Clinton Ave. School in the mid '60's! May Our Lord Jesus Christ rest his soul.

I'd known the Maratea brothers since childhood in the '60's starting with Eddie who helped out at Cusano's Shoe Repair where I hung out, Tony who was my neighbor on Fox Street in the '70's and Bobby was the Custodian at Clinton Ave. School in the '60's when I was a student there. Bobby was working with Mr. Campano until his tragic death from Suicide in the mid 60's and Bobby took over entirely as Head Custodian. Bobby was always happy and kind. School was stressful and seeing him always made me feel better! Once or twice I got to go down to the basement of the School to get his assistance with a stuck window or radiator. He was a great Man. Eddie, I'm sorry for your loss. May Our Lord Jesus Christ rest his soul.
