He was the beloved husband to Vincenza Maratea. Loving father to Giancarlo Maratea and Alexandrea Aimetti. Fond father-in-law to Danielle Maratea and Nicholas Aimetti. Devoted grandfather to Mattingly and Lorenzo. Dear brother to Gaetana Miglino.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 15, 2024, at the John Vincent Scalia Home For Funerals, Inc., 28 Eltingville Blvd. (at Eltingville Station), Staten Island, New York.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 16, 2024 at Holy Child Church located at 4747 Amboy Road Staten Island, New York 10312. Cremation will be private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Giancarlo's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at www.stjude.org/donate
