Bob and I were best friends thru school. When he got his first car a blue 4 door ford. We´d ride to school almost every day during the week.
We dated some of the same girls. We were in the choir together and Bob was a help on the track team that I was on all thru high school.
We shared many good times together and as teens we didn´t get into much trouble. I remember Bobs father was somewhat strick.
When I went to Bobs house to lift weights I had to park my older car at the end of the driveway because it had a slow oil leak.
Such good memories with him, he will be missed.
I hope Peggy you have people who can help you get thru this time.
I´m so sorry to hear about your smoke damage to your home.
Feel free to call me at any time.
Sincerely Bill Wilbur

Bobbie, a dear classmate, grew up with us in Duxbury, MA, and was a close childhood friend to my brother-in-law Fizz Richards. He came to one of our frequent Class of 1964 Reunions and get-togethers and I remember talking with him about how some of us lived or wintered in Florida and that we ought to get together. But, we all know how that goes; I'm upset on so many levels that we didn't MAKE this happen, especially when I married Putt Richards and we moved to Shalimar, just east of Ft Walton Beach. So many of our doctors' appointments and hospital stays have been in Pensacola. So no excuses just extreme sadness that we didn't renew our friendship in what is called our golden years (what a misnomer that is!).
I convey messages from so many of us who grew up with Bob. I would drive over this morning for his graveside service except that it is my mom's 99th birthday and the day is full of mini-celebrations. I will continue to add both Bob and Peggy to my prayers. Grieving is such an exhausting process; hopefully, Peggy, you and I can meet for lunch one day.

Oh my, I just loved knowing Bob & Peggy. We worked together at Old South back in the old days. Always a smiling face and good times together.
Peggy, I am so sad to hear that Bob is gone. I know this is such a hard time for you.
