Robert L. "Robbie" Mason, 61, of Winchester, VA, passed away on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at the Blue Ridge Hospice Inpatient Care Center in Winchester, VA.
Robbie was born on December 27, 1963, in Winchester, VA, the son of the late Ora E. and Cordelia Cortney Mason. He worked for Winchester Building Supply as a yard foreman for 18 years & Nain's Salvage in Winchester, VA for 20 years, former member of the Frederick County Conservation Club. Robbie enjoyed hunting, fishing, working in his yard, fixing cars, yard sales, loved the mountains, watching the Dallas Cowboys and he loved spending time with family and friends.
Robbie married Thelma J. Peacemaker Mason on December 29, 1989, in Winchester, VA.
Surviving with his wife of nearly 36 years are two daughters: Jessica Ludwick and Stephanie Saville (Tyler) both of Winchester, VA; two brothers: Carroll Mason of Winchester, VA; Michael Mason of Savannah, GA and four grandchildren: Grace, Raiden, Jaxson and Klaire.
He was preceded in death by his brother: John Mason; two sisters: Barbara Mason and Donna Combs.
The family will receive friends at the Giffin Funeral Home & Crematory in Capon Bridge, WV on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, from 6-7 PM, followed by a funeral service at 7 PM. Officiating will be Pastor Devin Ward. Inurnment will be private.
