Robert M. Maushart, a successful financial advisor, was born on April 13, 1938, in Cincinnati, Ohio. He passed away on March 7, 2025, in Lebanon, Ohio, surrounded by cherished memories and the warmth of his family's love. Robert, fondly known as "Handsome Bobby," possessed a great sense of humor and an outgoing personality that endeared him to many. His infectious spirit was epitomized in his ability to engage in lighthearted banter and his self-proclaimed title of a modern-day Romeo.
Robert pursued his education at the University of Cincinnati, where he received his bachelor's degree. As a financial advisor, he found fulfillment in guiding clients toward achieving their financial dreams.
In his personal life, Robert was a devoted husband and father. He shared 43 years of marriage with his wife, Hazel (nee Brewster) Maushart. Together, they fostered a loving family environment. Robert is survived by his children, Robert "Rob" Maushart and Christopher (Kacie) Maushart, and his step-children, Marisa (Scott) Curry, Marty Baumeister, and Matthew (Kristy) Bond. He was a proud grandfather to Skylar Maushart, Chloe Maushart, Heather (Brian) West, Alex (April) Curry, Andy (Jayde) Baumeister, Amie Baumeister, Matthew L. Clark, and Jordan (Janie) Bond, and took immense joy in being a great-grandfather to ten great-grandchildren. Additionally, he is survived by his brother, Terry (Michele) Maushart, and the mother of his children, Susan Bacciocco.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Milton and Ruth (nee Lyles) Maushart.
Robert had a zest for life that was reflected in his hobbies and interests. He was an avid golfer and a passionate traveler, enjoying numerous cruises and trips to Sandals Resorts and Las Vegas. His loyalty to local sports extended to being a dedicated fan of the Cincinnati Reds, Bengals, and UC Bearcats. In his leisure moments, he could often be found enjoying the pool with a drink in hand, favoring a daily nightcap of Rum & Coke, a budget-friendly choice compared to his preferred Makers & Club Soda.
