It's been a little over a year, and it's still hard to believe you're no longer here. I miss our long conversations we used to have about the people we knew at Forest Park Jr. High school. And I miss our conversations oh the history of our family that you have researched. You certainly was proud to be a McLaurin. I listen to old school music that reminds me of you. You were the big brother I never had. When we were lost in the woods in the country with Brenda, Eddie and Aunt Johnses boys. We spilt up the group and it was you and I, you got us safely back to Grandma's house before Brenda and them. That was the day you became my hero!!!! You are forever in my heart Robbie Rob!!!!!!

If I could have one thing that I could have at this moment, it would be to have you back here with us. It´s been 6 months and 6 days since you left. I still wake up in disbelief that you are actually gone. My life changed forever in that moment you left and will never be the same. Many times I wanted to call you about things that happened to discuss like only we can and it really hurts to know I can´t do that anymore. The wound is still fresh like you just left yesterday. I´m holding it together the best I can. I will love and miss you everyday, until we meet again. Love you big Brother....,Bren
