Randy attended Robert E. Lee High School in Houston, where he was a varsity cheerleader, and graduated from The University of Texas with a degree in Radio, Television & Film.
Randy was very creative and enjoyed music and the performing arts. In high school, he performed in multiple productions at Windmill Dinner Theater and Stages Theater. After graduating college, he moved to Hollywood, CA, where he worked as a production assistant on a variety of films, commercials, and music videos. In 1994, Randall moved to Atlanta, GA, to be near his brother and sister-in-law and worked in corporate communications. He then relocated back to Austin, where he lived and worked until moving to Tyler to act as a caregiver for his aging parents until his death.
Randy is survived by his loving mother, Betty; brother Bruce and wife Lisa of Greenville, NC; niece Alexandra of Dallas; and nephew Nicholas and fiancée Seleste Salamanca-Garcia of Denver, CO. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He especially enjoyed spending time with his cousins from Houston and Tyler. He had many friends who loved him for his kindness,.
