Henry was born in Greensburg, Kentucky to the late Junie and Verda McMahan. He retired as a plant manager from Paramount Plywood Products. Henry loved his family, church, horses, woodworking. Henry would spend his free time out fishing and telling stories.
He is preceded in death by his first wife, Ruth McMahan; second wife, Shirley McMahan; sons, Henry McMahan, Jr. and Donald McMahan; grandsons, Paul McMahan, Matthew McMahan, and Nick Boston; and siblings, Cleveland McMahan, Pauline Rock, Joe McMahan, Lizzie Bryant, Rose Lee Sanders, Johnny McMahan, Evelyn McMahan, Maureen Pinnick, and Bobby McMahan.
Carrying on Henry's legacy are his children, Patti McMahan Naville, Jeffrey McMahan (Jackie), Robert Boston (Jayne), Terry Boston, Timothy Boston, Ted Boston (Patty), Todd Boston, Tammy Anglin (Todd), and Erica McMahan; grandchildren, Hank, Roy, Danny, Patrick, Erik, Amy, Carrie, Lara, Mara, Sean, Tiffany, Chris, Timothy Jason, Jeremy, Joshua, Taylor, Noah, Jenna, Tori, Jordan, Nicole, Devin, Brittney, and Bethany; numerous deeply loved great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Mary Wiseman (Bobby) and Betty England; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Henry will be from 10 AM-12 Noon on Thursday, July 17 at Ratterman & Sons Funeral Home, 10600 Taylorsville Road. Funeral service will be at 12 Noon on Thursday at the funeral home, with burial at Sellersburg Cemetery. A memorial visitation will be from 4PM-8PM on Thursday, July 17 at Ratterman & Sons Funeral Home, 10600 Taylorsville Road.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
