Robert Melancon, Jr. Obituary
A memorial visitation for Mr. Robert "R.J." Melancon, Jr., 71, of Monroe, LA, will be held from 4:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. Friday, February 28, 2025, at Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd., Monroe, LA.
Mr. Melancon was born April 10, 1953, in southern Louisiana, and passed away February 25, 2025.
Mr. Melancon is preceded in death by his mother, Lillie Melancon; father, Robert Melancon; sisters, Julie Howell and Sheryl Authement; and brother, Kurt Melancon.
Survivors include his wife, Gloria Melancon; daughters, Michelle Melancon and Raven Peterson; son-in-law, Todd Peterson; and five grandsons, T.J. Peterson and wife Hannah, Corbin Peterson, Colby Peterson, Deven Melancon and Colton Peterson.
He will be forever in our hearts, until we see him again – we love you!
