Robert Glenn Midgett

Robert Glenn Midgett, born on December 27, 1955, in Elizabeth City, NC, passed away peacefully in Washington, NC, on May 31, 2025, at the age of 69.
Robert dedicated his life to his work in drywall, building a career through hard work and commitment. In his personal time, he found joy and solace in the great outdoors, cherishing every moment spent hunting and fishing. He especially enjoyed watching Westerns with his son, David Glenn, a pastime that brought them closer together and created many cherished memories.
Robert was preceded in death by his father, Robert Midgett and step-daughter, Amanda Beddard;. He is survived by his loving wife, Karen Midgett (Melanson), and his devoted children: Christina Pollard and her husband Kenneth, Tonya Dettmann and her husband Thom, Robert Midgett and his wife Kareena, and David Midgett. He also leaves behind his mother, Ruth Robertson; step-son, James Beddard of Washington, NC; as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will miss him dearly.
The family will receive friends and family on Tuesday June 3, 2025 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM located at Midgett Residence located at 1311 Deer Tract Drive Washington, North Carolina. A Private Service will be held at a later date.
