Robert Miller Obituary

Published by Legacy on Oct. 1, 2025.
Robert Joseph Miller IV, 38, passed away peacefully at home, alongside his loving wife, on Friday, August 22, 2025. Robert courageously battled a rare form of brain cancer for 10 months and never lost faith in God. Robert's unwavering belief in the Lord provided him with strength, guidance, and peace throughout his final journey.
Born on May 4, 1987, to his loving parents, Robert and Silvia Miller, Robert was the eldest of three children and was affectionately referred to as Tito. He was a devoted and protective big brother to his two sisters, Heather and Ana, whom he loved dearly.
As part of a military family, he experienced a diverse and adventurous upbringing, living in Spain, Maryland, and Puerto Rico before settling in Jacksonville, Florida, in 2001. Robert was a proud graduate of Orange Park High School and later earned a degree from Tulsa Welding School, becoming a Master Welder.
Robert's career path was as diverse as his talents. His love for speed led him to a successful career in sales, where he worked at various car and motorcycle dealerships. Robert had an innate ability to connect with others, making them instantly feel important and loved. Robert also worked as an aircraft mechanic on F-18 Super Hornets, contributing to crucial flight control system upgrades and playing a key role in the Blue Angels' transition from Legacy F-18s to Super Hornets.
Robert's greatest joy in life was making memories with his three daughters and wife.
Robert is survived by his devoted wife, Alyssa Miller; his daughters, Ryleigh, Raegan, and Ava Miller; his loving parents, Robert and Silvia Miller; and his sisters, Heather Lansdown (Miller) (husband, Christopher Lansdown) and Ana Miller (fiancé, Brandon Sotolongo). He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends whose lives he touched with his warmth, humor, and kindness.
The memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 30,2025 at Eastside Community Church (13301 Beach Blvd Jacksonville, FL 32246).
