Nancy Scott Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Jacksonville Memory Gardens Funeral Home & Cemetery on Oct. 1, 2025.
Nancy Louise Scott, 74, of Orange Park, FL passed away September 16, 2025. She was born February 3, 1951 in Jacksonville, FL to the late William "Bill" and Natalie (Day) Davis. Nancy was an Orange Park High School graduate and worked as a Data Entry Supervisor for Wells Fargo Bank, retiring after many years of dedicated service.
She was always happiest when she was with her daughter, Lynn, as they would travel to the mountains, cruising to the Caribbean, sitting by the pool or going to dinner. When Nancy did have free time, she enjoyed sewing, reading mysteries and watching her shows. Nancy was the kindest, most compassionate soul who could easily find the positive in people. She was always available to help those in need, no matter what was needed. Nancy was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, aunt and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is preceded by her parents and brother, Robert "Bob" Davis. Nancy is survived by her daughters, Renessa "Lynn" Gerra and Lori Howard (Mike); brother, William "Bill" Davis (Klara); grandchildren, Randy Lieno (Brittany), Kourtney Pilgrim (Dylan); grand dogs whom she adored, Phoebe and Finley; honorary grandchildren, Alaina Foo and Nathan Wooley; nieces, Nena Wooley, Erica Davis, Tracy Beverly (Johnny), Kayla Speke (Nelson); nephew, William "Billy" Davis (Brandy) as well as many beloved cousins, extended family and friends.
The family will receive family and friends from 5:00pm until 7:00pm, Monday, September 22, 2025 in the Jacksonville Memory Gardens Chapel. Graveside services will be held at 11:00am, Tuesday, September 23, 2025, in the Garden of the Good Shepherd in the Jacksonville Memory Gardens Cemetery.
The family requests, in lieu of flowers donations be made in Nancy's honor to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org or Community Hospice of North East Florida at www.communityhospice.com
