Stephen Moore Obituary
Stephen was a long-time resident of Orange Park, Florida and graduated from Orange Park High School. He made his career as a Supervising Springs Manager for Simmons Mattress Company and was a devoted employee for over 28 years. Stephen will be remembered as a man that loved going to the beach, he enjoyed going camping, collecting toys, and most of all time spent with family.
Stephen leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving daughter, Joanne Thayer Moore-Grubbs and her husband, John Grubbs; his grandchildren, Emily Moore, Sandra Grubbs and Jesea Grubbs, brother, Philip Moore, Sr.; niece, Dorothy Moore; nephew, Phillip Moore, Jr.; great-niece, Brianna Tarpley; great-nephew, Kody Tarpley, longtime companion, Michelle Hines, and many other loving family members and friends. Stephen touched the lives of many and will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.
Memorial services for Stephen Thayer Moore, will be held 11AM Thursday, January 8, 2026, at the First Baptist Church of Middleburg, 2645 Blanding Boulevard, Middleburg, FL 32068.
