Mr. Robert "Lamar" Mitchell, of Woodstock, Ga, passed away January 19, 2025.Lamar was born November 15, 1943 to George and Luddie Mitchell. He met the love of his life, Carolyn Crook Mitchell in 1964 and married her later the same year.Lamar was known for his fun-loving attitude. He was simply a great guy to be around, he wanted to see people happy and laughing. He was always cutting up and teasing.Lamar loved fishing, the outdoors in general and enjoyed all types of motorsports.
Lamar was preceded in death by his daughter, Robin L Mitchell; and his parents, George and Luddie Mitchell.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Carolyn Crook Mitchell; his son, Chris and his wife Lorie Mitchell; and grandchildren, Mallorie and Matthew Mitchell.
Lamar was an amazing man and loved his family and friends dearly. He will be greatly missed.
