Robert Mooneyhan

Robert Frank Mooneyhan, age 95 of Greeneville, passed away Sunday, June 29,2025 at his home.

Frank graduated from ETSU with a bachelor's degree in history and retired from Horace Mann Insurance Companies. He played baseball for ETSU while working part time at Magnavox. Frank served his country in Occupied Germany, where he was stationed in Nuremberg and played baseball for the army at Soldiers Field. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Greeneville TN.

He is survived by his wife of 69 years Virigina Mooneyhan, Three children, Rebecca Lynn Mooneyhan, Robert Houston Mooneyhan, and Mark Alan Mooneyhan Sr. Grandchildren, Christine Marie Mooneyhan-Salazar, Mark Alan Mooneyhan Jr., Samual Orion Mooneyhan, Emily Mooneyhan Scott, Lisa Mooneyhan Brown, and Jesiah Lionel Mooneyhan, as well as ten great grandchildren and Special cousin, Jean Mooneyhan Shepherd, and other In-laws, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The Greene County Honor Guard will conduct military honors at Greenelawn Memory Gardens.
