Robert H. Moore, Jr, affectionately known as Bob Moore, was born to Robert H. Moore, Sr. and Mary Frances Gamble (Moore) on April 1, 1945, in Huddy, KY.

Bob graduated from Liberty High School c/o 1963 in Williamson, WV. After graduation, he enlisted in the United States Navy and served from October 1964 to October 1968. Bob also served in the Army Reserves from March 21, 1975, to October 1989.

Bob was employed with the United States Postal Service for forty-two (42) years before retiring in 2009. He had a passion for driving, which led him to drive for COTA and later driving school buses.

If you needed your car worked on, he was your guy. Bob was a lover of cars and gave great advice on what to buy and how to keep it running like a charm.

Bob was God’s soundman. He worked the sound room equipment for both Gospel Light House Church and Linden Life Fellowship.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert H. Moore, Sr., and Mary Frances Gamble (Moore).

He leaves to cherish his memory, a loving wife, Pamela J. Moore; daughters, Yolanda Gail Moorman and Robin (Kurtis) Moore-Holloway; grandchildren, Chris Suel. Donald Suel, Josalyn Suel, and Jamicia Gordon, great-grandchildren, Donald “DJ” Suel, Draiden Suel, Damir Suel, Dalyce Suel, Saia Suel, and Sanai Suel; sister, Peggy J.
