Age 96, passed away Tuesday, July 29, 2025 at the Chemung County Nursing Facility following declining health. Born on May 12, 1929 in Elmira; Robert was the son of the late, Leland G. and Grace Crandell Moshier. In service to his country, Bob served in the US Army from 1950–1956. He married Donna Casselberry in 1956 having enjoyed many years of marriage. Bob was a member of the American Legion Gardner Warner Post # 154. Bob was employed by F.M. Howell Company for many years until his retirement. He enjoyed sports and was an avid N.Y. Yankees fan. Bob Spent many hours in his garden and caring for his home. Above all he cherished his family who survive him; wife and companion of 69 years, Donna Casselberry Moshier; a son, Robert Moshier Jr.; a daughter-in-law, Mindy Moshier, three grandchildren, Robert III, Kendra and Lindsey; a great granddaughter, Skyler; nieces and nephews; including special niece, Connie (Mitch) Dingus; and special nephew, Richard (Cheri) Casselberry; special friends, Sylvia Laughlin, Donald Hill (adopted grandson); Pam Lattin (adopted daughter); and Roxanne Starry. Bob was predeceased by a son, David Moshier in 2023 and a brother, Charles Moshier and Leland Moshier. In honor of Bob's wishes all services will be private at his family's convenience with burial in Maple Grove Cemetery.
