Robert B. “Brian” Nead, 54, of Chambersburg, PA passed away Thursday, March 6, 2025 in the Chambersburg Hospital. Born March 18, 1970 in Chambersburg he was the son of the late Donald and Donna (Short) Nead.

Brian was employed as a cook and at ACE Beer Distributor. Most recently he was employed at FedEx as a delivery manager. Brian was a member of the VFW Post 1599 and the American Legion Post 46 both in Chambersburg, PA. He enjoyed going to concerts and music festivals, playing guitar, and listening to music.

He is survived by his wife, Denise A. (Boxler) Nead; four children, Tasha Fisher (Teddy Kauffman), Joey Harmony (Jordan Kerbs), Nic Harmony (Brooke), and Jonathan Nead; two grandchildren, Anastacia and Chance Kauffman; a sister, Sandi Durham; and a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by maternal grandmother, Evelyn Short and paternal grandparents, Lloyd Nead, Sr. and Hulda Nead.

A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. Arrangements are by Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to either Burt J. Asper American Legion Post 46, 755 Philadelphia Ave., Chambersburg, PA 17201 or to Charles Nitterhouse VFW Post 1599, 747 S. 4th Street, Chambersburg, PA 17201.
