Wow it´s been 5 years since you´ve been gone. I think of you every day and always will. You meant so much to me and inspired me to want to be better. I enjoyed every second of knowing you and I´ll miss you for the rest of my life. You weren´t just a teacher you were a friend. My only regret is not seeing you more but hopefully we´ll meet again.
Love

Mr. Ohmar,
I'm deeply sadden to hear of your passing. You made such an impact on my life. I shared stories of you today. I loved watching Friday night lights on fridays and especially loved that you always opened the door for me while I was going through problems at home. You will truly be missed.

Mr Ohmer was a great influence to me musically. As well as a great and caring person. As a 2010 East high alumni, he will be greatly missed by my fellow grads and students that had a chance to know him and be taught by him.

My deepest sympathy to Sue and Family. I taught with Bob at Roosevelt Middle School when we were still at Cranberry Street. He had a true love for music and the kids that he taught. God Bless and keep all who Loved him. His talent and sense of humor will be missed. Rest well my friend.

I am so extremely sorry to hear of Mr. Ohmer's passing. I am a 2012 grad of East High School and remember Mr. Ohmer as the kind, welcoming music teacher I had for my senior music history course. I also remember him being at sporting events rooting for the Warriors. My fondest memory, though, will be how he very proudly played and sang the alma mater at graduation. I think that's how all of his students will remember him. He was one of the most caring, warm, and welcoming faculty East High had to offer. He will be missed. Prayers of comfort are sent to his family during this difficult time. -Ashley Cassano EHS grad 2012

Sue and family,
I just wanted to express my condolences on Bob's passing. I last saw him at the rehearsals for the Academy class reunion job which later fell through. I'm sorry I won't be able to attend the services because I am in Florida. You and your family are in my prayers. Sincerely,
Ed Fialkowski

Mr. Ohmer was such a great man, always supported me and helped me with my confidence. He showed me my true potential as a singer, and showed me a new love for music. Him and his wife visited me before I left for basic training, and even visited me after I had my daughter. Such a caring man, and he always had the best dad jokes. I just thought about him a few weeks ago when I was watching the Phantom of the Opera, the first time I watched it was in his class. Thank you for everything you've done for me, you'll truly be missed. RIP

Bob was a longtime friend of mine. We worked together at some point. He was an excellent dad who took care of his kids and his wife. Bob loved all kinds of sports especially the Cleveland Indians. He also liked to golf. Bob loved his music. Bob most of all to me was like a brother to me. He always treated me with the utmost respect. We will truly miss bob. May he rest in peace. My deepest heartfelt sympathy to his wife Sue, his kids Tracy, Bobby, and grand kids. Love you brother save a spot up there for me. Your good friend Ariel.

Bob was an excellent keyboardist and also had the accordion tamed. His humor and talent will be missed. I got to play guitar with Bob a few times and it was always a blast. I learned a lot from him.
