Robert Panozzo

Robert Panozzo, 77, St. Augustine, died February 8, 2024 at UF Health St. Johns. Robert was born in Chicago, IL, son of the late John J. and Rose Panozzo. He had resided here for the past 2 years, moving here from Loudon, Tennessee. He was a veteran of the US Army. He then worked as a sales supervisor for Ingersoll until his retirement. He loved golfing, bowling, and was an accomplished Black Jack player. He was a charter member of Shephard of the Lake Lutheran Church in Tennessee and was very involved in the life of the church as an assisting minister, member of the church council, and the choir.
Interment with military honors will be held at Jacksonville National Cemetery 1:00 p.m. Friday April 19, 2024.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Janice Panozzo; daughter, Stacy Stoll, both of St. Augustine; and 2 grandchildren, John and Samantha Stoll.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory can be made to Habitat for Humanity or to S.A.F.E. Pet Rescue.
St. Johns Family Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
