Robert Parish Obituary
Robert Parish, 60, of Marion, Indiana, passed away peacefully at 12:02 am on Thursday, December 25, 2025, at Indiana University Health University Hospital in Indianapolis.
Robert was born on January 4, 1965, in Bluffton, Indiana, to Charles and Elizabeth (Jarvis) Parish. He married Teresa (Martin), who survives.
Robert worked as a handyman for many years before retiring. He was known for his love of the outdoors--an avid fisherman who cherished the peace and quiet of nature. Robert had a green thumb and enjoyed tending to his garden. He adored his animals, especially his pit bull, Max, and in his younger years, he found joy in caring for aquariums.
Robert is survived by his wife, Teresa Parish of Marion; sons, Troy Parish and Aaron Parish, both of Marion; brother, Charles (Nancy) Parish, Jr.; sisters, Nadina (Michael) Bailey and Joy Obregon; granddaughters, Antonio, Lillyan, Elizabeth, and Isabel Parish; step-son, Brian Smith; step-daughters, Holly Demass, Amanda Demass, and Florence Demass; along with 16 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Elizabeth Parish.
A celebration of life for Robert will take place at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 1465 E. Bradford, Marion, IN.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.
