In Loving Memory of Robert William “Billy” Perez
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Billy Perez, who left us peacefully in Boncarbo, Colorado, at the age of 61.
Born to Braulio and Gretchen Perez, Billy grew up in Colorado and attended Green Mountain High School. He was a proud and loving father, a devoted grandfather, and a loyal friend to many. Billy is survived by his beloved son Angelo, cherished grandson Myles, and his brothers David (Sharee) and Peter. He also leaves behind his nephews Nickolas , Brandon, Cameron, nieces Kayla, Emma, and Katelyn, and his godson James Montoya. Billy was blessed with a large extended family and had many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Billy had a deep love for the outdoors. Whether he was fishing or camping, he found peace and joy in nature.
A lifelong Denver Broncos fan, he never missed a game and wore his orange and blue with pride.
He worked for many years at International Paper, retiring after a dedicated career. But perhaps his proudest role was as a father. Billy never missed one of Angelo’s baseball or football games, and he supported his son not only as a parent, but as a coach for both Mountair and Notre Dame baseball teams. His commitment to youth sports and his community left a lasting impact on many young lives.
Billy will be remembered for his kindness, steady presence, and quiet strength. His legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered.
