Robert Adam “Robbie” Price, age 62, passed away on April 12, 2025, in Andrews, Texas, surrounded by his son and family.
Born on October 22, 1962, in Brooklyn, New York, Robbie moved to Andrews in 1974. He graduated from Andrews High School in 1981 and later worked as a stocker at Lowe’s, where he found joy in connecting with customers and coworkers alike.
Robbie is lovingly remembered by his only child, son Seth Robert Price and daughter-in-law Zowie Price; his cherished grandson Rhett Mason Price; his brother Howard “Woody” Price; sisters Nancy Wilson and husband Tim, Valerie Barton, and Susann Gilliam; as well as 17 nieces and nephews and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frederick Price and Clara (Dougherty) Price; brother Frederick George Price; and grandparents Marianna and Wilfred Dougherty and Agnes and Howard Price.
Known for his eccentric charm and generous spirit, Robbie never met a stranger. He was a passionate music collector who loved tinkering with things and riding around Andrews on his Moped. Deeply independent and selfless, he was always ready to help others—often quite literally giving the shirt off his back. His greatest pride was his son Seth, and his joy was being “Grandpa” to Rhett.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to Angels Care Hospice for their support, with special appreciation to Lanae Lopez, Mary Marquez, Corina Adame, and Chris Hagger for their compassionate care during Robbie’s final days.
A memorial service will be set at a later time here in Andrews, Texas.
Robbie’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
