Robert D. Quinn

Robert D. Quinn, age 87, of Erie, passed away Monday, March 9, 2026. He was born in Erie on April 1, 1938, son of the late Thomas and Winnona Quinn.

Bob was a graduate of McDowell High School and attended Gannon University. He was a business owner and tool & die maker, owning Quinn Machine and Tool and Bacardie Joe's Tavern. Bob was one who never sat idle. He enjoyed road trips and attending auctions in the tri-state area. Bob loved golfing and hunting with his sons at his camp. He also loved fishing on his boat with all his children when they were young. Bob was a great storyteller, he especially enjoyed telling exaggerated tales to his daughters and grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth E. Quinn; one son, Joseph Quinn; one daughter, Terri Ellison; and a brother, Thomas Quinn. He is survived by eight children, Robert, Thomas (Violet), Richard (Michele), Michael (Michelle), Patrick and Susan Quinn, Debra Wilsdon (Albert) and Barbara Quinn Morales; one son-in-law, Donald Ellison; one sister-in-law, Barbara Clontz; one niece, Jodi Szoszorek (Chris); and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 2607 Buffalo Rd., Monday, March 16th, from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm and are invited to attend a Funeral Service there on Tuesday, March 17th, at 10 am conducted by Rev.
