Robert A. Reames, Jr., age 59 of Bellevue, OH, passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at Avita Galion Hospital in Galion, OH. Robert was born January 10, 1966, in Maryland, the son of Robert Reames, Sr. and Betty (Belcher) Reames.
Robert was a kind-hearted, loving, and humble man who was always willing to lend a helping hand. Whether it was a neighbor in need or a friend going through a tough time, Robert was the type of person who would give the shirt off his back without hesitation. He had a deep love for his family and was especially devoted to his daughters, who were the pride and joy of his life. Being a dad was his greatest role, and he was nothing short of amazing at it.
Robert enjoyed spending time with friends and was happiest in the company of others, sharing stories and laughter. He had a passion for shooting pool and could often be found at the table, cue in hand and smile on his face. His caring nature, generous spirit, and unwavering loyalty will be remembered by all who knew him.
Robert is survived by his daughters: Lacey (Justin Mulkey) Benson of Bellevue, Linda Reames of Maryland, and Amy Reames of New York; grandchildren: Wyatt, Nicholas, Brendon, Sarah, Emerson, Molly, Brooklyn, Marissa, Megan, Maddie, Hunter, and Ava; and sister: Vonda Scott of Bellevue, Melinda (Billy) Hawkins of Bellevue, and Karen Roberts of Helena, OH.
Robert is preceded in death by his parents.
Friends will be received on Sunday, June 29, 2025, from 6-9:00pm at Foos & Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue, OH 44811.
Memorial donations may be made to Robert's family to assist with funeral expenses.
