Memorial Services for Robert Alfred Rich, 72, will be held Monday, January 22, 2024 at 11:30 a.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 1680 First Street, Arcadia, Louisiana, 71001. A visitation for family will be held Monday, January 22, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. and a visitation for the public will be held from 10:30 a.m. until time of service at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 1680 First Street, Arcadia, Louisiana, 71001. Officiating the service will be Miles Holliday.
Robert Alfred Rich was born May 12, 1951 in Homer, Louisiana to Robert and Betty Rich and passed away Friday, January 19, 2024 in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Al will be remembered as a loving husband, friend and the best dad to three girls who already miss him dearly. Al studied Forestry at Louisiana Tech in Ruston, Louisiana. He loved the outdoors. At one point he was an avid fisherman and hunter. After retiring from Engines Southwest, he became a farmer and pecan dealer. In his last few years, he enjoyed watching his grandkids play golf and basketball. His favorite activity was hanging out with his best friend and wife, Brenda Rich, on the back patio. He will be missed by so many.
Robert is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Carroll Rich. His memory will be cherished by his wife of 48 years, Brenda Stiles Rich; daughters, Ashlea LeFranc and husband, Jared, Christy Guidry and husband, Caleb and Jenny Suggs and husband, Brandon; grandchildren, Mahalie Kyzar and husband, Logan, Slayte Guidry, Lexi LeFranc and Jay LeFranc; cousins, James Murphy and wife, Beth and Jimmy Martin and wife, Millicent; niece, Chelsea Rich and other numerous nieces and nephews.
Serving Robert Alfred Rich as honorary pallbearers will be Jared LeFranc, Caleb Guidry, Brandon Suggs, Britt Smith, Blake Smith and Eric Lee.
