Robert's legacy is one of steadfast love, quiet generosity, and genuine kindness. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and those who experienced his kind heart, strong values, and the simple joys he shared throughout a life well lived.
Born in
Philadelphia, PA, Robert was the son of the late James and Sophie Baraniek Richmond.
He was the devoted husband of Dorothy Fellows Richmond; together, they shared 66 wonderful years of marriage built on love, respect and partnership, raising two daughters with a strong emphasis on kindness and honesty. His commitment to family was evident in every action-he was always willing to go the extra mile for his loved ones.
Robert had a passion for sports; weekends often found him cheering for the Eagles or watching boxing and NASCAR racing, activities he enjoyed alongside his family. One of his most cherished rituals was meticulously washing and polishing his car-an act that became a symbol of his pride and attention to detail. He loved being outdoors and devoted countless hours to gardening, tending to his property until he was nearly 87. Dedicated to staying healthy, Robert exercised regularly.
For over 51 years, he and Dorothy built a life together in Churchville, where Robert was a devoted caretaker, consistently putting his wife's needs before his own.
In the final chapter of his life, Robert moved to Bridges assisted living just months before his passing. Despite physical challenges near the end, his mind remained sharp. He engaged with staff always with a warm and thankful smile. He left a lasting impression on all who crossed his path.
In addition to his beloved wife Dorothy, Robert is survived by his loving and devoted daughters, Donna Reynolds and her husband Tom of Chalfont, and Dawn Reynolds and her husband Michael of Horsham.
