Robert "Bob" Riede

Robert "Bob" Riede, beloved husband to the late Denny Witt. Dear brother of Don (Ginny) Riede, late Patsy (Bill) Saylor, Rick (Darlyn) Riede, Marcia (David) Brinkman, Chris Riede, and Lynne (Dave) Brinker. Loving uncle of Laura Ann, Tracy, James, Wayne, Monica, Tanya, Jennifer, Jeffrey, John, Pam, Eddie, Matt, Joe, Nic, and Katie. Preceeded in death by his parents Norbert Reide and Mary Jane (nee Reynolds) Riede. Robert had many hobbies, he enjoyed fishing, playing euchre and watching British T.V. He loved being outdoors and going to Oktoberfest. Bob had a big heart for animals and would help take care of animals in need of a good home. He had a talent for making everyone feel like family and was known to never meet a stranger or a stray. He was a proud veteran who not only loved his country but his family and will be dearly missed. Robert passed away peacefully on Friday, October 6, 2023 at the age of 72. Memorial visitation will take place at Frederick Funeral Home, 2553 Banning Rd. on Saturday (October 14) from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Humane Society of Preble County, 951 S Barron St, Eaton, OH 45320.
